MUCO TECHNOLOGIES itself is busy investigating if we can present an embedded solution based on which the equipment can be simply provided with a WIFI interface.
Initially this question came up as a result of a demo made by us for the iPhone. For the demo we tried a standard WIFI access point together with an embedded UTP-interface where we made a network to UART interface. When we were doing that demo completely, we asked ourselves how we could produce an embedded WIFI interface. We are now engaged in developing a module that can set up an ad hoc WIFI connection and can also be placed in a standard WIFI network. The goal is to offer an affordable solution so that it can be operated with an embedded device through a serial connection.
